## There are four ways to add or edit text in an existing PDF.

[Edit text option](docId\:E_j1zNPWrQAVWw-Lh3bLa) : To edit a few characters within an existing editable line of text, use the **Edit text** option.

[TypeWriter](docId\:VEYm_7RGXrLEWPhoCeEe-) : To insert small amounts of text anywhere on the PDF, use the **Typewriter **function.

[Converting to Word](docId:3VUYGKwLqGtP7rGwLgH8g) : To edit or add a large amount of text, we recommend converting the file to a Word document and making all changes there.
