**Within the 30 days after purchasing the software there are 2 ways to cancel your purchase and be refunded. After the 30 days, for Monthly and Yearly plans** **only the renewal**** of these subscriptions can be cancelled.**
## Option 1: Do it yourself from the Dashboard
From your [Dashboard](docId\:H6nBFx_4JCvWpMT3kllAq), under **Subscription Plan**, select Cancel subscription
Follow the onscreen instructions
### Choose when you would like the subscription to end.
**Immediately** will proceed with the refund if purchase was within the last 30 days.
**End of current period** does not process a refund. **It just does not renew the subscription after the current period ends.**
**Note **- A **perpetual license **can only be refunded within the first 30 days after purchase. There will be no option to cancel at end of current period.

## Option 2: Request a Refund
This is the best option to cancel only a part of a plan. For example, if too many seats were purchased, such as one additional seat being added by mistake.
To request a refund or cancellation within 30 days of purchase, please contact [Customer Support ](https://support.pdfpro.com/hc/en-us/requests/new)and submit a support ticket.
**Please make sure to include your order number as well as the** **email address** **used to make the purchase**.

### Refund Processing Time
We typically require 1-2 business days to initiate the refund process, depending on the volume of support requests. Once processed, the refund should appear on your credit card within 5-10 business days.** If it takes longer please contact your bank for assistance**.

**If you purchased a PDF Pro ****Yearly subscription****, it is set to ****renew automatically**** each year. You can ****cancel** **the auto-renewal at any time before the next renewal date to avoid being charged again.**
