### How to create a Watermark - TEXT.

In the <font color="#ff0010">**EDIT**</font> tab, click on the text labelled **Watermark**. You can also access the pulldown menu if select the small triangle icon <font color="#f4a80d">▼</font> as shown below.

This will bring up the Create Watermark settings screen.

### The TEXT settings

<font color="#2166ae">**❶** </font>Select **Text** – Type in the text you want to appear.

<font color="#2166ae">**❷**</font> **Font Settings** – Choose font type, size, bold, italic, and color.&#x20;

<font color="#2166ae">**❸**</font> **Angle** – Select a preset angle for the text on the page.

<font color="#2166ae">**❹**</font>**&#x20;Opacity** - Adjust how visible the text is over other content.

<font color="#2166ae">**❺**</font>**&#x20;Page Range** - Apply to all pages or specify a range.

<font color="#2166ae">**❻**</font>**&#x20;Position** - Select from 9 preset locations on the page (positions are fixed).

<font color="#2166ae">**❼**</font>**&#x20;Preview** - View how the watermark looks on all applicable pages.

Click **Add** to save your custom text watermark to the Presets.



To use a preset Text watermark, select the text to be used and click <font color="#fd0303">**OK**</font>.

The final result would appear like this:

### How to create a Watermark - IMAGE.

In the <font color="#ff0010">**EDIT**</font> tab, click on the text labelled **Watermark**. You can also access the pulldown menu if select the small triangle icon <font color="#f4a80d">▼</font> as shown below.

This will bring up the Create Watermark settings screen.

<font color="#2166ae">**❶** </font>Select **Image&#x20;**<font color="#2166ae"> </font>to begin.

<font color="#2166ae">**❷**</font> Choose Image - Browse and select the image file from your system.

<font color="#2166ae">**❸**</font> Select the Image and click **Open**.



### The IMAGE Settings

<font color="#2166ae">**❶** </font>**Scale** – Adjust the size of the image watermark.

<font color="#2166ae">**❷**</font> **Angle&#x20;**– Choose a preset angle for how the image appears on the page.

<font color="#2166ae">**❸**</font> **Opacity** – Control the transparency to allow content behind the image to show through.

<font color="#2166ae">**❹**</font>**&#x20;Page Range** - Apply the watermark to all pages or a specific range.&#x20;

<font color="#2166ae">**❺**</font> **Position** – Select from 9 preset locations on the page (positions are fixed).

<font color="#2166ae">**❻**</font> **Preview** – See how the image will appear on all applicable pages.

Click Add to save the image watermark to your presets.



To use a preset image watermark, select the image to be used and click <font color="#fd0303">**OK**</font>.

### How to Remove a Watermark.

In the <font color="#ff0010">**EDIT**</font> tab, click on the small triangle icon <font color="#f4a80d">▼</font> next to the menu choice **Watermark** as shown below. Select **Remove watermark** to delete any text or image watermark from the document.
