Attachments

you can attach files using the attachment function found under the home home tab at the top ribbon ❶ ❶ or by clicking the show attachment button in the left navigation sidebar ❷ ❷ attachment tool locations adding an attachment using the attachment button on the left navigation bar the attachment will be added to your document as part of the whole document and not to a specific page attachment side bar menu ❶ ❶ locate the attachment icon click on the attachment icon located on the left navigation bar ❷ ❷ list of attached files tool bar once you click the attachment icon, a tool bar will appear at the bottom of the window ❸ ❸ add a file click on the paper icon with a green green plus sign to add a file ❹ ❹ selecting a file to attach choose the file you wish to attach select the file to attach ❺ ❺ custom description a description input dialog box will appear prompting you to print a custom description for the file adding a description is optional description input dialog box ❻ ❻ attachment in document the attachment will be added to your document as part of the whole document and not to a specific page file description included using the attachment button in the top ribbon this is used to attach a file to the document with an option to add comments it can be attached to a specific page depending where you place the icon link ❶ ❶ with the attachment menu option selected, click on the pdf page where you would like the attachment icon to appear ❷ ❷ the paper clip icon will be displayed attachment menu note after adding the attachment icon (paper clip) to the pdf page, you can move it as needed when the paper icon ❷ ❷ is clicked, a choose file for attachment dialog box will open locate the desired file and click open locate the file to attach the user can add comments in either of the areas marked with ❸ ❸ simply click in the designated space and type the desired comments adding a comment is optional add comments ❹ ❹ a list of attached files appears at the bottom of the page viewing and managing attached files after attaching files, you can view them in the list of attached files section this section displays information about each attached file, including its name, date/time of attachment, file size, and a description here’s what it looks like attached files bottom menu name the name of the attached file date/time the date and time when the file was attached file size the size of the attached file description any additional description or notes about the file you also have options to manage your attachments ❶ ❶ add attachment click on the paper icon with a green plus sign to add a file ❷ ❷ delete attachment click on the paper icon with a red minus sign to remove a file ❸ ❸ show attachment (open the attachment in pdf pro) by clicking the paper icon with a blue downward arrow the attachment file will open in another tab, allowing you to view it alongside your current document on pdf pro
