accessing the search function you can search by using the shortcut "ctrl + f" or by accessing the search panel by locating the search icon on the left side of the screen (it looks like a magnifying glass) click on the icon to open the search panel the search menu will be displayed search options settings whole words only check this box if you want to search for exact words only this means "cat" will not match "catalog" case sensitive check this box if your search should distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters for instance, "cat" will not match "cat" include comments check this box if you want the search to include comments made within the pdf show search markers on the scrollbar check this option to display markers on the scrollbar indicating where search results are located throughout the document using the search feature the search function process ❶ ❶ to initiate the search, enter the word of phrase you wish to find ❷ ❷ click the search button to start the search process ❸ ❸ review search results the results will be displayed in the panel below the search bar you can click on any result to jump directly to the corresponding location in the pdf ❹ ❹ navigate through results use the up and down arrows in the search panel to move through the search results sequentially
