using the hand/select tool 1\) to use the hand tool , click on the hand icon in the top ribbon this allows you to move around the document by clicking and dragging 2\) to use the select tool , click on the select icon in the top ribbon this allows you to highlight text and select objects within the pdf using zoom controls zooming in and out lets you adjust the view of the pdf for easier reading and navigation zoom controls options on the top ribbon ❶ ❶ zoom options zoom in increases the document's visualization size zoom out decreases the document's visualization size predefined zoom levels zoom options starts from 25% and goes up to 6400% ❷ ❷ fit page (ctrl+3) view the entire page within the document window ❸ ❸ fit width (ctrl+2) maximize the width of the document in the view panel ❹ ❹ actual size (ctrl+ 1) view document in its actual size 100% zoom note note the viewing size you select for a document will be remembered after you save it, so it will open at that size in the future zoom controls options on the red navigation bar (bottom) bottom red navigation bar red navigation bar options pdf pro includes a few shortcuts to quickly set your document to predefined viewing sizes ❶ ❶ single page (ctrl+4) view one page at a time ❷ ❷ continuous (ctrl+5) view the pages in a column for easy scrolling ❸ ❸ facing pages (ctrl+6) view two pages side by side ❹ ❹ continuous facing (ctrl+7) view two pages side by side in a column ❺ ❺ full screen mode (f12) show document in full screen mode, press esc to exit ❻ ❻ zoom slider adjust the zoom level smoothly by clicking the minus and plus + buttons fine tune the zoom level by dragging the slider left or right with the mouse cursor the percentage display shows the current zoom level you can also click on the percentage display to type in a specific zoom level rotating pages and documents to rotate all pages from the entire document from the top ribbon ensure you are on the home home tab use the rotate left or rotate right buttons this will rotate the entire document by 90° increments you can rotate individual pages if needed, although this is technically editing the pdf file in the ribbon, click on the edit edit tab use the rotate page left and rotate page right buttons rotate page buttons you can also access rotation options by right clicking on the pdf page, as shown in the image below you can also rotate pages directly from the thumbnail view by right clicking on the specific page collapse/expand ribbon to collapse the ribbon , click the collapse the ribbon (upwards arrow) icon located at the top right corner of the ribbon collapse arrow icon to expand the ribbon , you can click on any tab or the expand the ribbon (downwards arrow) icon , and the ribbon will automatically expand tabs and expand ribbon icon changing pages navigate through your pdf document using the ❶ ❶ red bottom navigation bar red bottom navigation bar , ❷ ❷ scrollbar, ❸ ❸ thumbnails, or keyboard arrow keys change page options ❶ ❶ bottom navigation toolbar go to first page click the first page button on the bottom toolbar go to previous page click the previous button on the bottom toolbar or press the left arrow key on your keyboard go to next page click the next button on the bottom toolbar or press the right arrow key on your keyboard go to last page click the last page button on the bottom toolbar go to specific page enter the desired page number in the provided text box on the bottom toolbar ❷ ❷ scrollbar use the scrollbar to navigate between pages by clicking and dragging the bar up and down with your mouse ❸ ❸ thumbnails use the thumbnails to navigate by dragging the scroll bar located in the thumbnails, using the up and down keys on your keyboard, or scrolling with your mouse wheel
