Your Default App

before using the software, we recommend setting it as the default app for pdf files to make opening them easier in the future set pdf pro as your default program for windows start the pdf pro program using the desktop shortcut link the main screen will appear the first time you will get the following message screen this will allow you to set the software to be the default program to view the pdf format default application to read pdf file format request to setup the option for the software to be the default program to read and open pdf files, select set default the following information box will appear select ok and follow the on screen options select change to bring up a menu of all available software to choose from find pdf pro pdf pro from the list, select it and then press set default set default the pdf pro name and icon will now appear in the " opens with " dialog box select apply and then ok pdf files in the folder will now have the pdf pro icon associated with them for mac the main screen will appear the first time you will get the following message screen this will allow you to set the software to be the default program to view the pdf format under the file file tab, select preferences and then click the make default pdf viewer button make default pdf viewer button when the message box appears, follow the on screen instructions using finder to complete the process on screen instructions go to open with section select pdf pro press change all warning message box appears click continue continue right click any file to open with , and the pdf pro will now be the default application for pdf files default setting
