you may restrict the usage of a pdf file by setting a password a password restricts access and usage to a pdf document to authorized users; anyone with the password will be able to open and use the pdf under the secure secure tab, click password password icon this will bring up the file security properties dialog box ❶ ❶ choose this option to prompt users for a password to access the document ❷ ❷ select this option to allow the user to change settings and access specific functions ❸ ❸ once complete, click finish finish to apply the password settings
