pdf pro allows you to create digital signatures for use on pdf's, or import existing signatures into pdf pro in order to add a digital signature to a pdf, a signature must already be created and saved within pdf pro how to create a digital signature under the secure secure tab, click sign pdf sign pdf icon the signature settings signature settings menu choices will be displayed the first step is to create a signature click on the green + + or from the pulldown menu create signature as shown below create signature menu choices you can now create a new signature or import/copy a previous one for a new signature, click draw signature to open the signature box, use your mouse to draw your signature, then click ok ok draw a signature you can also use import file to add a signature image, or paste from clipboard to insert one you've copied when satisfied with the signature, click save save signature options the final result appears as shown below saved signature how to manage digital signatures if a digital signature has been created and saved in pdf pro, it will show up in the signature settings signature settings tab to manage the signatures, select the manage signatures from the pulldown menu choice manage signatures menu choice this will open the manage signature dialog box here you can create additional signatures or delete existing signatures create or delete signatures how to add a digital signature to a pdf if a digital signature has been created and saved in pdf pro, it will show up in the signature settings signature settings tab created signature to use the signature, left click your signature once left click the signature then click on the pdf where you'd like to place the signature click where signature goes if you do not want to use the selected signature, click reject unsigned signatures or the ❌ this will remove the signature from the pdf page delete selected signature to use the selected signature, select apply all signatures or ✅ apply signature to pdf the final result appears as shown below signature applied to pdf note note once a signature is applied, it cannot be selected or edited later to remove it, you must press ctrl + z immediately after applying it—before making any other changes to the pdf after additional edits, the signature cannot be undone
